Contraindications for Biozith 500 Tablets

• Allergy to Clarithromycin or other macrolides
• Concurrent use with cisapride, pimozide, astemizole, terfenadine, ergotamine, dihydroergotamine, lovastatin, or simvastatin
• History of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic dysfunction due to Clarithromycin
• Severe liver disease
• History of QT prolongation or ventricular arrhythmia
• Concurrent use with colchicine in patients with renal or hepatic impairment
